Introduction

Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most beautiful trekking routes in Annapurna Region with the heights of 4200 meters. The Annapurna Base camp trek offers you magnificent views of the Annapurna range and a mixed culture of Gurung and Magars.

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp is one of the amzaing trek in Nepal. The trek offers you magnificent view of Annapuran range including some of over eight thousand meters high himalayas. You pass through beautiful cultural villages, dense forests and at the end be comfortable at the natural hot spring pool. The trip begins in Kathmandu and ends at Pokhara which is one of the most popular touristic cities filled with natural beauties and serene lakes. Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

You may arrive at Kathmandu at any time. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of Jvill Nepal Team’s airport representatives. He will help you get transferred to your hotel. He will also explain further plans and programs to you. You do not have anything else planned for the today, thus you may check into your hotel and relax or spend your time as per your preference.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara is a very beautiful one. You can see the natural landscape of the terrain in a spectacular fashion. The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 6 hours on land and about 30 minutes by flight. When you arrive at Pokhara, you will be greeted with beautiful views of many prominent mountain peaks like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre and the many mountain peaks of the Annapurna massif. From Pokhara, we will then drive to Nayapul. It is a bustling town that lies some distance away from Pokhara. From Nayapul, we will then start our trek to the village of Ghandruk. The trek is a pleasant journey of alpine woods and distant sight of the mountains. The journey is shrouded in tranquility and peaceful atmosphere.

Day 3 : Trek from Ghandruk to sinuwa

we will make our way from Ghandruk to the village of Sinuwa. We will first go up for an hour along the trail to reach Ghandrukkot. After that, we will follow the perpendicular descend towards the Kimron Khola. We have an easy walk for an hour; we will then follow the rising terrain once more to reach the Chhomrong village. Chhomrong is a striking village embraced by giant Annapurna Himalayas. From Chhomrong, the trail descends until the Chhomrong Khola. Then we will begin a slow climb as we head up to our destination for the day at Sinuwa.

Day 4 : Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali

From Sinuwa, we will proceed to Kuldi Ghar. It is about two and a half hours walking distance away. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from where the route goes very steeply down the bank of rocks and levels out. We will then hike through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We will pass by the pasture of Tomo, and then the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah is reached. We can a small trail and a shrine at Barah. The track then continues to climb to the Himalayas further on out.

Day 5 : Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

we will climb on past the Machhapuchhre Base Camp from Deurali towards the base camp of Annapurna. This area is also called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains and is under protection. From here, it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base Camp, which offers spectacular views of the mountains and the natural surroundings of the region. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 6 : From ABC to Bamboo (2310m/7575ft)

We will follow the same trail down today towards Bamboo. The trail drops by 1,700 meters to the banks of the Modi Khola. Bamboo is situated at an altitude of 2,345 meters, where there are a few teahouse/lodges available to stay at. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Bamboo.

Day 7 : From Bamboo to Jhinu Danda Hot Spring (1780m/5840ft)

we will follow the same trail until Chhomrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar, we will find that there is an experimental sheep farm here. The trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields until Chhomrong. From the village, the trail then descends very steeply to the Jhinu hot spring, where you can bathe in the natural hot spring. Jhinu is said to have natural properties of healing due to the minerals in the naturally sprouting water. It is said to sooth the nerves and aching muscles.

Day 8 : From Jhinu Danda to Kathmandu (1370m/4495ft)

From Jhinu hot springs, we will walk along the right side of the Modi Khola to Birethanti. The town of Birethanti is a beautiful small hamlet that is surrounded by beautiful green woods and hills. The hike from Jhinu to Birethanti is considered as one of the best and the most relaxing walks of the entire trek. Upon reaching Nayapul from Birethanti, we will have an hour’s drive back to Pokhara and take the latest flight back to Kathmandu.,/p>

Day 9 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Farewell

At last day at Kathmandu we will visit the most popular area of Kathmandu such as Basantapur Durbar Square, Sawayambhu Kumari ghar etc. At tonight there will be Farewell programm for all.

Requirement

As you are going into the high Himalayas and the weather is subjected to change anytime so warm cloths are recommended all year round.  You could leave all the unnecessary items at your hotel or contact us to be storage. Just pack all your trekking gears in one bag which will be carried by our carrier and make a small day bag for yourself to carry the things which you might need during the day and for your valuable belongings.
