Introduction

Balthali Village tour is popular tour around Kathmandu valley lies just beyond Panauti Town and Khopasi (40 km away from south east from Kathmandu) situated one of the rich cultural and nature lovers and bird watcher can spend day exploring and discovering some exceptional species of wildlife, tradition and culture untouched by modernity. This “off beaten track” has endless trials leading to some unknown villages of Tamangs, Newars and ethnic tribes, thus offering excellent short hikes and mountain biking experience.

Balthali Village tour is on the hill surrounded by thickly forest with plentiful floras, colorful rhododendron and sal trees. Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu international airport. Meet our company airport representative . Assist transfer to Kathmandu hotel. Orientation program. overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing . O/n at Kathmandu

Kathmandu Valley sightseeing. Visit Pashupatinath temple, which is one of the most sacred Temple of God lord Shiva in the entire Hindu world. It is a pagoda style temple which as two tiered golden roof and four silver doors situated at the bank of Bagmati River. From Pashupatinath 10 minutes walk to Boudhanath Stupa. Enjoy the walk arround the Boudhanath stupa. Boudhanath is one of the world biggest Stupa. Afternoon drive to Bhaktapur which is 13 KM away from Kathmandu. Lunch in Bhaktapur Darbar Square. The oldest city of Nepal knows as City of devotees retains the charm of 15th century. You can see the 55 window palace and its ancient art and architectural of different temple and surrounding. Visit Durbar square, Golden Gate, Bhaktapur Palace, Peacock Window, Batsala Devi, Vatsala Durga, Taumadhi Tole, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavanath Temple, Til Mahadev Narayan, Dattatraya Temple, Siddha Pond, Changu Narayan Temple. Overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel.

Day 3 : Drive Kathmandu to Namobuddha. Trek to Balthali village.

Drive Kathmandu to Namobuddha at 1982 m by private car and visit the ancient Buddhist Monastery of Namobuddha, the famous Buddhist Pilgrimage site where the lord Buddha sacrifices his body to hungry tigerss and its Cubs.Walk from Namobuddha to Balthali Village 1730m. Overight at resort/home-stay.

Day 4 : Explore around the Dada Gaun and comminity.

visiting typical tamang village, Dada gaun of Buddhist community walk to pada Gaun(2100m), from where whole Himalayan range to north and beautiful green forest of Mahabharat can be views and follow the bank of Ladhu river.Overnight stay at Resort/Home-stay.

Day 5 : Trek to Khopasi. Drive to Kathmandu.

walk from Balthali to Khopasi 1400m and drive back to Kathmandu by private car with visit tallest 108 feet statue of Lord Shiva on the way in sanga and transfer to hotel.

Day 6 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing. O/n at Kathmandu hotel.

Drive Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. Visit Patan Dhoka, Golden Gate, Kumbeshwar Temple, Uma Maheshwar, Durbar Square, Bhimsen Mandir, Manga Hill, Vishwananth Temple, Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Krishna Temple, Char Narayan Temple, Hari Shankar Temple, Patan Royal Palace, Taleju Temple, Uku Bahal, Rudra Varna Mahavihar, Rato Machhendranath Temple, Mahabouddha Temple, Uku Temple, Achheswor Mahavihar. The Swayambunatha Stupa is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire’s base are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3 km west of Kathmandu city and is situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu valley and hence commands an excellent view of the valley. This stupa is the oldest of its kind. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. The Kathmandu Durbar Square Visit Durbar Square, Krasthamandap, Ashok Binayak Temple, Lakshimi-Narayan Temple, Kumari Bahal,Maju Deval, Shiva-Parvati, Saraswati Temple, Kreishna Temple, Jagannath Temple, Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Statue, Hanuman Dhoka, Nasal Chowk, Lohan Chowk, Basantapur Tower. Transfer to Airport for final departure.
