Peak Climbing

J.vill Nepal Treks & Expedition also offers Peak Climbing in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal. We will organize for you a peak climbing medium and hard expedition in the Nepalese Himalayas that is in the 6000-7000 range. You will find our peak climbing to be challenging yet accessible. These "Climbing Peaks" of Nepal can give a hobby-climber the opportunity to tackle high altitude Himalayan peaks without having to organize a major expedition. Although these peaks are lower in altitude than their more famous cousins, the 8000-meter peaks, many demand just as much heart and a sense of adventure. Trekking and Peak climbing in Nepal with us can offer you a chance to climb the high Himalayan summits. You too can enjoy a taste of being in the 'wilderness', without burning a big hole in your pocket! We provide adventure-filled and affordable trekking and peak climbing programs in Nepal.

Maybe your concern is that any large high altitude summit will demand too much time, but most of these majestic Himalayan peaks can be climbed and completed in a relatively short time. For example, Yala Peak and Naya Kanga Peak in the Langtang valley and Tharpu Chuli in Annapurna region can be completed in less than twenty days. All our programs provide an adequate amount time to acclimatize. On the Pisang Peak, Chulu East, and Chulu West trips, you can 'bag' two summits in under one month! This itinerary includes trekking on the world famous Annapurna circuit. Another famous and superb destination that lies within the Everest region is Mera Peak in the remote Hinku Valley, Island Peak, Khongma Tse, and Lobuche peaks which will put you in close proximity to the Everest Base Camp.
In our programs for peak climbing, we carefully select peaks that require little to no previous mountaineering experience. However, it is essential that participants are in excellent physical condition. Participants should have some working knowledge of being in the outdoors, and a general sense of what it’s like to be in mountainous terrain. Knowledge and use of an ice axe, crampons and ropes are not necessary though nevertheless can come in handy.  Before the actual climb, all participants will go through climbing school. This is where our expert staff will train all participants in the basics of handling ropes, use of all participant climbing devices and discuss safety considerations. Our trained guides are registered with the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and are on all of our Himalayan Mountaineering Expeditions. These climbing guides are locals who are intimately familiar with the mountains and routes they guide on. This is their home and they are eager to share this amazing and special place in the world. A privilege once reserved only for the fabled 'Himalayan expedition climbers’, now you too can experience the joys and challenges of high Himalayan peak climbing. Join one of our peaks climbing for this exciting and once-in-a lifetime adventure.
