The trip takes you to some of the most popular sites of Kathmandu and to hill station out of Kathmandu to have a magnificent views of the Himalayas, sunrise and beautiful lush hills.

Day 4    After breakfast at your hotel, you are free until it is time for us to transfer you to the airport for your flight home.


Day 1 : Your Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport we will greet you and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu and evening at the hill station of Nagarkot

After breakfast at your hotel we will explore the most beautiful sites of Kathmandu and its surrounding. We will have our morning sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durbar square ( old royal palace complex) and then visit the sacred Buddhist stupa also know at money temple situated at the top of a hill.

After lunch we will drive out of Kathmandu city and stay in the small town of Nagarkot for chance to enjoy a spectacular mountain views and sunset over the Himalaya.

Kathmandu Durbar square:

"Kathmandu Durbar square" also known as Kantipur, the capital of The Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the living goddess, who greets the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence, Kastamandap temple, the origin of the name Kathmandu, which is supposed to be built from the wood of a single tree and Durbar Square, the ancient palaces of the Nepalese Royalty. The square is filled with temples and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Swyambhunath:

Located at the top of the hill approximately 4 km./2.5 miles west from Thamel. It is also known as The Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in parts of the temple in the north-west. It is an ancient religious complex consists of a stupa, variety of shrines and temples surrounded by forest. The stupa has a cubical structure present with eyes of Buddha, looking in all four directions with the word "unity" in the main Nepali dialect between them. The stupa is said to be 2000 years old.

Nagarkot:

Nagarkot is located approx. 7000 ft (2000 m) above Sea level and famous hills station commanding breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas, rolling hills, deep valleys, lush pine forests in a quaint rural atmosphere.

Day 3 : Old city of Bhaktapur

After an early start to view the stunning sunrise, we drive back and visit the old town of Bhaktapur on the way. After reaching Kathmandu, afternoon is free for shopping or explore around the nearby places.

Bhaktapur:

Bhaktapur is the one of the three ancient cities within the Kathmandu Valley. It is also known as Bhadgaun, meaning the city of devotees and is the home of true medieval art and architecture in the Valley. Lying 14 km east of Kathmandu city, Bhaktapur is the center of traditional Nepalese wood carving. Compared to other royal cities in Patan and Kathmandu, Bhaktapur is the most original and is without a doubt the most historically authentic. It is also literally a living museum where farmers dry their harvest, potters turn their wheel and people go about living as they have done for so long.

Requirement

As you are going into the country of Himalaya and the weather is subjected to change anytime. Autumn (September to November) the days are pleasant but the temperature drop in the night so a pair of warm cloths are needed for night time. In spring the days are hot and humid but for the night a pair of normal jakcet is recommended. June- August its monsoon time with rain, hot and humid so rain jackets and a pair of normal jacket are recommended. For winter (December-February), the days are pleasant when sun come up in the sky but as soon sun move apart its get chilly and could get below 0 degree so warm cloths are the most.
